Refined the ride home from work today, taking pics every few minutes. It's almost all single track from work to home. Kinda feel lucky to have this option.
Leave the door of work, ride a bike route for about .75 miles.
Then onto this bike path for a mile or two.
Bike path ends, single track starts. Some little gap jumps are off to the left if you feel so inclined.
Good views of the Wasatch when the trail goes up on the walls of the wash.
Super buff in spots.
Instead of climbing over 13th east, go under it.
Climb out of the wash for good views of the Wasatch and the end of the climbing.
A little suburbia for a mile or so.
The only busy part of the commute. About 3-4 minutes along 9800s and then a bit on Wasatch. This adds a bit to the route, maybe a mile or two, but it removes more paved riding than it adds, and it also adds more fun single track.
Payback for the slab along Wasatch.
4 blocks of suburbia to home. About ten miles of riding, can be cut to 7.8. Almost all single track, very little road riding. Put the bike away by the bigger, more powerful bikes.
